Douglas Knehans – Unfinished Earth & Tempest

The Brno Philharmonic give a storming account, relishing Knehans’s virtuoso writing, particularly the horns (the composer’s son being an apprentice horn player). However, Mikel Toms secures some sensitive accompaniment in the concerto. Good sound, too.
